Design contest

Published January 16th, 2011 by Bobby Henderson

I’ve started a design contest for an FSM logo/emblem at LogoTournament.  It’s mainly so we can have a professionally designed t-shirt.  Contest has been up for an hour and already I’ve been impressed with some responses.  If this is your kind of thing, please come enter.  Winner gets $375.    Here’s the contest page.

The contest ends ~ 1/22.   I’d love to hear opinions on the designs as they come in.

Please offer a high-quality cotton with an embroidered logo! Those t-shirts at Cafe Press are so scratchy & cheap with their plasic-glue logo that cracks off in the washing machine (or whatever that stuff is). I think a lot of people would pay for a nice quality alternative. Thank you & Ramen.

Hmm… very interested. But what’s with the accepted file type? What program saves files as .eps?

    • Bobby Henderson says:

Hmm I’m not sure, maybe Illustrator? I can probably get files converted for you, just let me know.

eps is an image format. You can save as eps from photoshop and illustrator.

Out of interest, what’s the maximum size we can have?

Very disappointed to see that you’re running a contest instead of hiring a professional graphic designer.

The fact that the respondents to this thread don’t know what an EPS is, don’t know the difference between Illustrator and Photoshop flavors of EPS, and don’t know the difference between raster and vector art, means you’re not going to get the “professionally-designed” t-shirt you’re looking for.
