Faith Fighter sighting

Published May 30th, 2010 by Bobby Henderson

Watching from the background, the only God who chooses not to fight.

David spotted the FSM in the flash game Faith Fighter.

I was playing with Jesus versus Mohammed and I did a screen capture when I saw the Flying Spaghetti Monster hovering in the background.

I have become  a true believer, I now call myself a Pastafarian!

This game is pretty awesome, I have to say.  Each God has His own particular moves.  Here’s Jesus trying out the Holy Cross:

Cool hat.

It feels very much like the old Street Fighter games.  Good work Molleindustria – Fun AND sacrilegious.

You can play it here.

My suggestion is that he add the FSM (praise Him) as one of the deities. Otherwise, great game.

I notice Jesus already has his nails in. Does he use “scratch” as a move?

Actually, Iron Mike -1- , there is a sequel, in which the Flying Spaghetti Monster appears. But there is no fighting in the sequel.

    Brilliant move.

How about them Nordic, Greek, Egyptian, (and other) gods and deities?
And yes, Iron Mike is spot on, FSM should be a playable character.

Wowwwww Keith…. My Blasphemeter almost broke reading that one. :)

Actually, He is in the sequel. I think He has less of a central role becuase He is less hands on than other deities. I’m still watching for noodly manipulations.

This game is a metaphor for religion wars, notice the burning buildings and squished tanks, camels, etc.?
FSM is a peaceful deity, so it’s logical he doesn’t take part in the fighting. He’s there to clean up the mess the other gods create.

  7. Thomas.S says:

FSM has no need to appear in this game, He transcends violence.
