Sad news

Published January 11th, 2007 by Bobby Henderson

Momofuku Ando, the inventor of Instant Ramen Noodles, has died at 96.  I don’t know for a fact, but strongly suspect, that Mr. Ando was a devout Pastafarian.

The New York Times has an article about it here.

So ISmFw (or Zero), you still playing? or do we take this as an admission that you accept the validity of our arguments and have converted to sentience?

I find it highly amusing that the angry Christians cannot come to terms with the initial intent for the publication of Pastafarianism…Gyar…a sad day indeed when something as brilliantly witty as this cannot go appreciated by some because of the limited capacity of their grey matter…I bet they’re just bitter that Francis Drake made life a little tough for them several hundred years ago.

Hey! Tomorrow is St. Momofuku Ando’s bithday! Should March 5th be his holy day or should it be August 25, the day he perfected his flash-frying method and invented the precooked instant noodle? I think it should the August date.

May Saint Momofuku bless us all.

Should have his licence revoked; if this man is not happy with dispensing legal drugs because of his beliefs perhaps he should try other employment, or does his income come before his beliefs? WBR LeoP

Rest In Pasta, Mr. Ando. We will all miss you.
