The Book of Macaroni is another testament of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and is a companion work of scripture to the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster! The founder of Macaronism, Gemelli Smith Jr. declared that The Book of Macaroni was “the most correct of any book on earth.” I know that you can become closer to the FSM by reading the Book of Macaroni.

I recognize that many of you consider us Macaronis to be part of a sect and not true Pastafarians because as Macaronis we believe that the Spaghetti, the Meat Balls, and the Sauce are three separate and distinct deities rather than a single deity with a trinity of flavors and textures. But I testify that we too are true disciples of the FSM. I promise that if you will read the Book of Macaroni with true intent to know that it is true, and you pray to the Spaghetti in the name of the Meat Balls, you will know by the power of the Sauce that it is true.

  4. 784 Ah, the starchy prophecy Jan 4th, 2008 at 11:46 am

Upon reading the final words of The Book of Macaroni as well as The Gospel of The Flying Spaghetti Monster, I have come to a true inner peace within my starch-based composition. I do indeed reccommend that anybody whom wishes to recieve insight as to your origins and intelligent creator, you should allow The FSM to caress your ziti with his noodly appendage. Don’t be alarmed if you notice a pulsating sensation leading to an eruption of alfredo sauce from your ziti. Thats just a physical expression of The FSM when His meatballs… aargh just read the books.

    Proper Parade Attire?

I am planning on attending the re-scheduled Doo-Dah Parade in Pasadena, CA this coming weekend (shoulda taken place the weekend before T-giving - will now befoul Colorado Blvd. on Sunday, Jan 19, starting 11:30-ish - http://www.pasadenadoodahparade.info/dd_info.htm) While I expect to be there primarily as a spectator, I will join the procession if the spirit so-moves (any fellow followers gonna be there?).

I have fashioned an unworthy noodly image of our most worthy Noodly Creator, and affixed it to a Bob-Marley-esq beanie (complete with luxuriant `dreads’) - thereby becoming an Double-PastaFarian…

But in perusing the Good Book, I see that it is considered blasphemy to proselytize in anything but Pirate Regalia; how Pirate-ee must I be, to avoid being meat-balled to death? Would an eye-patch suffice?

P.S.: Oh, and can someone please help this novice create the mandatory Post, so I can start reading- and composing to the Forums? Please e-me at: neclark90723@yahoo.com

A question for “a Macaroni from UT” on his contention that Macaronis are true followers of Pastafarianism…

Is it true that you guys have “Magic Underwear”?

If YES, are they `tighty-whitey’ or `boxer’, and how are they better than honest, Amurrican Fruit-of-the-Loom(*) - or even going “commando”?

Am I the only person who was offended by the segregation of the book in the store? I went to buy it 2 days ago, and I found out it was not in the religion section but in the humor instead. Why is this? Are we not a legitimate religion to the book stores? I think we should revolt against them.

  8. 788 Prayer Request Jan 21st, 2008 at 9:25 pm

I had a vision and I’ve been terryfied by it!, in my vision I saw the FSM was losing his meatballs! and he was growing in anger towards us his followers for how unfaithful we have been not obeying his commands to get the holy outfit and how we have been lazy on proclaiming his gospel! we have to pray for forgiveness, that he won’t lose all his meatballs!, if that happens condenmnation is going to occur and we are all going to go to the apocalistic blender and after we are going to be poured as red spaghetti sauce to quench his anger!!!,, I’m disturbed by now,, spread the word!

You might want to add to the book’s description that it can be bought (as the hardback version) from www.play.com It’s an English online shop, sells in £ and Euros(just noticed Idon’t have a keyboard symbol for ‘em) and it’s free delivery.

My life was strewn in financial difficulties, career problems, relationship issues, and loose bowels. But having stumbled upon the FSM website, my life has been transformed, and I too am basking in the euphoria of inner peace, tranquility, and more regular bowel movements. Praise be to the FSM!

  11. 791 Hubert Doofendorfer Jan 29th, 2008 at 10:20 pm

I too have suffered from loose bowels, brother Phil. I can appreciate the anxiety it can cause. Once while giving a lecture on how to clip cat claws, a few balls of fecal matter worked their way down my pant leg. It was only after a sweet old lady descretely informed me of my happenstance, that I fell into the deepest funk. By divine intervention, I was led to the official site of the FSM, and after a moment of prayer, and medication, I felt a warmth in my anus, and it started to slowly move through my large intestines, up, up, up through my stomach, liver, and throat, and at the precise moment, a vision came upon me, and I knew at that instance that I was healed. Yes, you guess it, the FSM’s noodle appendage touched my anus, and made me whole. I share my testimony in the hope that other loose bowel sufferes can know there is hope. Several minutes after my religious experience, I farted out a storm of methane, that I have no doubts was the spirits of negativity that aboded in my gut. This evilness was purged with 6 to 10 hard thrusts of my abdominal muscles, and since that eventful day, I have felt a bounce to my step, my head thrust high and I can now, for the first time in decades look anyone in the eye with confidence, and I dare say, Savor Faire.

    RAmen!

I just want to thank the creator of this site because it does such a good job at what it was intended to do.

By believing in FSM wholeheartedly and pushing forward the FSM Bible, the worship services, the pirate thing, etc…it just shows how absurd other religions are for trying to say that something happened with no proof. How can we prove that any other religion is correct? FSM comes up as something with just as much, if not more, proof.

Of course, the whole thing is intended to show that science is the prove-all. We need the major scientific theories. Science is important, it is not something to be made fun of or to be compared with something as silly as religion.

My chemistry teacher last year tried to tell us that science and religion differ in the way that they define truth - he said that science defined truth as changable (as in theories like the periodic table and how they evolve over time), and religion defined truth as infinite (people believe the same thing for thousands of years). Even this explanation is absurd. Religion changes over time as well - I mean, examples in the Christian bible abound of sacrifice to their God. But now, I bet you can’t find a Christian who believes in the idea of sacrifice. All my life the conflicting things presented in religion - not just Christianity - have annoyed me. We know that science will eventually solve all mysteries of the universe. Any “changing truth” is simply initial misunderstanding, initial miscalculation. Truth in religion is not truth at all. It is faith.

    There is a huge difference.

Thank you, FSM, for touching me with your noodly appendage in the name of science.

I have read the noodley word and it’s delicous. I plan to spread the noodley word here in PA. Already I have converted 5 to our cause. RAmen to all who have been blessed by the noodley appendage.

  14. 794 PastaDownUnder Feb 14th, 2008 at 9:38 pm

As a new convert to Pastafarianism, I am beaming to see the number of warm-hearted, lovely, well-adjusted and, (dare I say it?) attractive followers that are flocking to dine on this sumptuous religious fare!

Like you, I have been touched by his noodley appendage. I am from Sydney, Australia, and have just spent Friday afternoon spreading the good word to two Harbor-side bars and a McDonalds fore-court.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster was VERY well received! Australians natively subscribe to many of the ideas espoused by the religion (beer volcano, strippers, touching, appendage) and I have handed out in excess of 100 pages of promotional material. Down here Aussies also generally despise government agencies imposing the beliefs of the few upon the impressionable. So I would just like to say - sincerely - thank you Bobby for bringing us the good word from our delicious deity.

    Long Live Pastafarianism,
    Praise be to the FSM,
    RAmen!

  15. 795 The midget.. Mar 4th, 2008 at 6:20 pm

This is entirely TRUE! He created me and all of you to so if you shall doubt his FSMness HE SHALL SMITE YOU!!

  16. 796 jeremykeys Mar 8th, 2008 at 12:19 pm

Now there’s a word you don’t hear everyday. Smite! Does anybody know exactly just what that means? I’ve often pondered this question. Gods apparently smite mere mortals but I haven’t heard of that happening much lately. Maybe it’s just out of fashion. But back to the question If you’ve been smited, how do you know? Is it painful? Do you get like, blasted to smithereens? A huge boil on the butt perhaps? I’ve heard of being smitten. Often while in love but I don’t think the two are connected. Can I be taught how to smite? I’ve got it! Anyone with an IQ of less than 130. Smite them all! Kinda sounds like a Mettalica album.

“and he was growing in anger towards us his followers for how unfaithful we have been not obeying his commands”

I understand that the FSM does NOT care if we believe in him/her/it or worhsip same or follow any commands, even as he never issues any….

so your statement is clearly BLASPHAMY! for which his/s/i followers here on earth will have to cover you in cheap canned whipcream as punishment.

  19. 799 Preist of the FSM Mar 14th, 2008 at 5:41 am

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
