    @ Alchemist - Dammit! Glad I didn’t spend too much time/energy on that reply. I hate April Fools Day, big time!

    @ Thumpie - hahahahaha! Good on ya, mate! :) Play on our sympathies and our good natures…I need to spend time getting the “Sucker” off my forehead.

    @ Batman - we are very nice people! That’s my story and I’m sticking with it…

  2. 562 - April 1st, 2007 at - Batman Says:

    @Rowdy and Alchemist and THUMPER!!!!!!
    Oh that was so mean!! You mean that cripple was Thumper??! Aw… I should have known. =(

  3. 563 - April 1st, 2007 at - Rowdy Wench Says:

    @ Batman - I’m still sticking with the “we are nice people” story! :) I just don’t think of people pulling tricks like that…I’m a cynic, you’d think I’d be smarter than that! Oh well, I’m laughing at myself! :)

  4. 564 - April 1st, 2007 at - Batman Says:

    @Rowdy
    Well, *reluctant grin… it is kind of funny. I did almost feel badly about using the name Cripple. As in, hey Cripple, what’s up? But… the learning disability!!! I felt soooooo bad for the guy!!! “I developed several learning disabilities, or whatever the fuck you want to refer to those as”… *snickering… I really wanted to offer the poor cripple some love and support!
    .
    Damn you Thumper!!!! (Now I can’t stop giggling as I read back the original post… I always swore I would not make fun of the handi’s… and now I am. You are a BAD influence!!)

  5. 565 - April 1st, 2007 at - Rowdy Wench Says:

    @ Batman - I’m with you all the way!

  6. 566 - April 2nd, 2007 at - Thumper â„¢ Says:

    @The guys (Alchemist, Batman, Rowdy etc)
    Yes…it was my little April fools contribution…but I wasn’t Cripple…errrr…motionally challanged…
    @Hugdaddy
    Hahahahahahahahahahahaha…what I meant to say was…that I think that you…
    .
    1. Are of limited intellectual capacity;
    2. That you enjoy making love with animals and immediate family;
    3. That you are culturally inferior to swine (sorry piggies);
    4. That your personal hygiene is inadequate;
    5. That you in all probability have a small sex organ;
    6. And that you should practice euthanasia on yourself.
    .
    Sorry for making you think I liked you…loser…

    Welcome to CoFSM :)) Looks like there was a little mix up earlier regarding your post.

    “i would not necessarily say that i believe the Flying Spaghetti Monster is our creator and all of that, but i would never think to deny His existence.”
    .
    His Noodlyness doesn’t mind if you don’t really believe in Him. He’s not that vain :))
    .
    As decreed in the first “I’d really Rather You Didn’t”
    1. I’d really rather you didn’t act like a sanctimonious holier-than-thou ass when describing my noodly goodness. If some people don’t believe in me, that’s okay. Really, I’m not that vain. Besides, this isn’t about them so don’t change the subject.

    @all
    Oh shit. Now I feel worse. First, I thought Cripple was for real. Then I thought he was Thumper, which made is sound funny. And now he’s real? Shit…
    .
    @Cripple
    Sorry!

    You’re just to kind a person, Batman. Now there IS a solution, and that is splitting yourself up in different personalities: the nice, real, funny Batman we all know, IN EXCLUSIVITY for the Disciples’ group, some bad humoured pissy Batthing for the main page, and a third one to pour in whatever emotions you don’t feel fit in either character, for a forum (venganza’s or other). That way I would have a good reason to focus on the posts’ blizzard that’s snowing under the Disciples’ group. There is a dark side too: you might get confused, and not know anymore which emotions belong to the real Batman…

    RAmen to this totally useless advice, probably influenced by the fact of having received my 7 DVD set of the complete Monty Python’s Flying Circus, of which I’m going to put the first disc into my computer NOW! Bye, folks, you won’t be hearing from me for some time (which isn’t much of a surprise for main page posters)

  16. 576 - April 2nd, 2007 at - Batman Says:

    @Jean Bart
    I’m jealous!!! I wish I could have a Monty Python marathon… I guess I’ll settle for an America’s Next Top Model-athon. Or no, I will read a book or something.
    .
    Thanks for thinking I’m nice! I feel really REALLY bad though… I don’t know if I am going to post here for a while. I am too ashamed… and if Cripple reads it, I can’t imagne it would make him feel very good either. I can’t be THAT good of a person, eh? But, your advice was very helpful… in the sense that it made me laugh, which made me feel a little bit less like a big meanie. So thanks!
    .

    @Cripple
    I AM SO SORRY!! I’M AN ASS!!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS SOMEONE PLAYING AN APRIL FOOLS JOKE!!

    In my long life on this earth, being raised hindu i never thought there would be a church of flying spaghetti. Afterall people have worshiped cows, cats, crocs, salt and even the sun. It just goes to show you hundreds of years from now archaelogists will find out that sombody worshiped spaghetti. Then they will use that to discuss how superior they are from us the cycle never ends you dumbasses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
