    @Wench Nikkiee Feb 17th, 2007 at 3:43 pm “Hi guys :) Came across an article re Angela Merkels plans on the Margo Kingston web diary: “European Discrimination on Trial” http://webdiary.com.au/cms/?q=node/1812
    This “Roma” (or “Rom”, or just plain gipsies) problem has centuries of age, throughout Europe. Very difficult to handle, or to provide laws for, even on European level: those folks are quite mobile, and don’t mix with other cultures.

    @Jean Bart
    HI Jean. Just pinked up the link for that topic off the forum

    http://www.venganza.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7284&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=
    Wondering if that topic is open to new posters? I’m OK but wondering about other new entrants. I know that, when first at the Discussion site a few months back, as a new register, I was limited re posting on some topics.

    First of all, after registering, you read the stickies in the “Standards and Practices” forum, then you post your first post there (in a thread called “New Converts” or something like that), then you’re free to post everywhere. Well, I was, when I started a month ago. Welcome aboard, see you there some time!

    Oops, I understood YOU couldn’t enter the forums. Well, my text aims at new entrants then, of courrse.

    @Jean. I’ve also registered twice (a while ago and again tonight) but never received an activation key via e-mail either time. ?

  6. 306 - February 17th, 2007 at - Wench Nikkiee Says:

    I’m already in…been registered there for a few months. Just that posting on some of the topics required that you had already made a certain number of posts to the forum overall. Was mainly asking for info for benefit of others :)

    Strange: you should have received that. Maybe you could try to contact venganza.org about it: I think there is a contact somewhere near the “new convert” thread.
    @Bluey Feb 17th, 2007 at 5:00 pm “Is this about sheep?”
    You could start a topic about sheep in the “Games and Jokes” forum…

    .
    I don’t care what you type just so long as you type it yourself and don’t get any help from a bag of frozen beans.

    Thanks Batperson. I was hoping that hungdaddy would return and swear at me or even propose that I engage with him in some form of obscene and un natural coupling but it seems to be “lights out” time at hungdaddy’s institution…oh well…there’s always tomorrow…

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
