MIT Flying Spaghetti Monster Display

Once upon a time in MIT's building 4 there was a (rather dramatic) Mormon display that looked something like this,




with details like this.





In case you don't believe this is MIT, here is evidence that it was right next to a (rather attractive) metallurgical display (that had been in that location for years).

The Mormon display was later moved to replace (!) said metallurgical display (at which point it was identified to have been placed there by the MIT Latter-Day Saints, and "Under Construction"). As of yesterday, however, the display had been removed entirely.

This morning, walking into class, I was treated to this noodlicious display, right where the Mormons had been merely two days ago. I mean, the Mormons are pretty fundamentalist, but they're nothing compared to this FSM crowd...

I love MIT.
