Nick Jones, a Biology Graduate student at East Carolina University, and another fellow (and currently unkown) pastafarian, took part in the first ever FSM Anti-War protest. Hopefully thousands more will follow. Make Noodles - Not War

  2. 162 - June 17th, 2007 at - Doodles Says:

If his Noodliness doesn’t like violence then how can he have pastafarians (pirates) as his ‘disciples’ because pirates steal things and use violence to get them!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

    Mountains.
    Trees.
    Midgets.
    We are all his creatures.

  3. 163 - June 19th, 2007 at - Gaara the Pirate Says:

if you read the gospel of the FSM the pirates were nice in the beginning, giving out candy to children on halloween, spreading joy and VDs everywhere they went. then decendants from ninjas, supported by the jeoulous christians, went after the pirates, slaying many, The pirates got pissed and began to pillage and burn other towns. The other religions saved only that info and ignored the niceness of the pirates in the begining so they only had that info put in textbooks and torist shops, etc.

    Make noodles, not war.
Why are we even there now? The attacks going on are mainly because they want us out of there country. The FSM would abhor the killing of countless innocents, I’m sure.
Insurgents are not lost puppies. They won’t follow us home if we leave. His Noodleyness would want us to see this.

  6. 166 - August 15th, 2007 at - Captain Devilock Says:

Aye, make noodles not war, as it should be. Bloody wars interrupt dinner, worship and more importantly, the fun of piracy! Besides, only typo spewing landlubbers be the ones who support such a war. Or a man who, in his entire person, happens to be a joke. Do I smell right wing un-noodliness?

  7. 167 - August 15th, 2007 at - Mike T Says:

Make noodles, not war? Why not both? I propose the creation of a revolutionary new weapon: the Noodle Bomb. It has many advantages over conventional and nuclear weaponry: not only does it leave buildings intact, but after it detonates (thus covering the target with thousands of tons of pasta over several square miles), it is so delicious that the enemy totally loses all incentive to make war. And, the Noodle Bomb’s sauce contains absolutely no biological, radiological or combustible additives of any kind…with the possible exception of red pepper :) Of course, the targets of the Noodle Bomb will have to provide their own forks and plates…

  8. 168 - August 16th, 2007 at - Booty Says:

Cool - I like the noodle bomb!
Welcome aboard all of you :D
Now, we just need a way of delivering lots of beer as well…..

  9. 169 - August 16th, 2007 at - ۞ Says:

No one will worry about Collateral damage from the N Bomb.
We could back it up with heavy bombardment with conventional won-tons.

  10. 170 - August 16th, 2007 at - Commodore Angryy Says:

i left the mark of the fsm in a church today. i am proud. :^)

  11. 171 - August 16th, 2007 at - One-eyed Wonderkin Says:

We could develop a MIGMB war head (multi-independently guided meatball) to follow the sauce bomb and befor the aero-graded cheese bomb.

  12. 172 - August 16th, 2007 at - Booty Says:

Come on people - we need beer ideas!
Although I do love the MIGMB.
We could be really a force to be reckoned with, and that is before the ground forces go in armed with sub-atomic frying pans.

  13. 173 - August 23rd, 2007 at - lupin the third Says:

war si hateful and the fsm does not and cannot tolerate it, especially when it’s in his name. those who go to a pointless war wiil never see the beer valcanos and stripper factories! instead they will go to hell where the beer is stale and the strippers have vd.
    Can i get a RAMEN?!

  14. 174 - September 10th, 2007 at - Noodle Connoiseur Says:

    Fellow noodle lovers and FSM skeptics alike, I’d like to add this to our little intellectual debate;

The United States is responsible for the power that was given to those who are now are enemies. Osama bin Laden was originally funded by our government with technology, weapons, and money to quarrel with the Soviet Union. And Saddam Hussein? He was funded by the same means, but then it was to do battle with Iran, while the Iran-Contra affair was pushing even more weapons into the Middle East. All these weapons and all these religious and social divisions in a hotbed of religious zealotry in a part of the world that tends to have a general dissent towards the U.S. acted as a sort of time bomb that we set up for ourselves. And do you know who’s responsible? The wealthy, corrupted, predominantly, but not entirely, right wing politicians and oil moguls that tend to run this country, who back their statements with religion, lies, and propaganda to fool a stupid nation into what they want them to believe.

Now it’s my belief that FSM never intended for people to rally behind a leader and different religions, but it was His will that such things would eventually come to be. Therefore, the only way that we can fix the fiasco that our world is in is by eliminating the governing bodies of the World and coming together as one under His Noodley Appendage. Then and only then will we all be able to work together for the common good for each person, without a single person to tell us what to think.

Unfortunately my friends, such a dream is impossible. Man is as man is. People will lie, cheat, and steal to get the most personal gain that they possibly can in this world, and this is where all systems will fail. Thus, without a much desired lack of order, a single person could change things and bend a legion to their will. Thus, we must have systems of order in our world. At times, these systems will be corrupt and unfair, and at other times harmonious and abundant. As time goes on, nations will rise and fall, but never will any system be in place and remain as such without trouble or quarrel. It’s impossible.

And if any one human being on this plane of existence can naysay all that I’ve just said and back it up with a logical, thought-out response, I would like to hear it. RAmen!

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
