“Thought you might like a photo of a new billboard in the Hampden neighborhood in downtown Baltimore… Baltimore’s downtown revitalization slogan is “Believe,” and everyone in the Hampden neighborhood calls each other “Hon” (it’s a local thing). ”

    I feel the love.

I shall journey to this most blessed spot and give many thanks for His divine presence.

I used to live a block away from this beautiful baby and drove past it every day to work. I didn’t know what it was at first and then came to enjoy the kookyness of it all. It’s in a very funny spot, too, like on a house next to a gas station.

I know where this is in Baltimore since I grew up there. This flies in the face of everything we have been taught. Because of this, I wholeheartedly endorse it, and will seek to touch the noodly appendage!! aaarrrrrrrr!!!!

Purchase the Gospel

An elaborate spoof on Intelligent Design, The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is neither too elaborate nor too spoofy to succeed in nailing the fallacies of ID. It's even wackier than Jonathan Swift's suggestion that the Irish eat their children as a way to keep them from being a burden, and it may offend just as many people, but Henderson, described elsewhere as a 25-year-old "out-of-work physics major," puts satire to the same serious use that Swift did. Oh, yes, it is very funny. -- Scientific American
