Apastacy

Postby catdrchris » Sun Dec 25, 2005 4:11 pm

Apostasy: (n)Abandonment of one's religious faith, a political party, one's principles, or a cause.
Apastacy: To knowingly irk His Noodliness through acts offensive to Him. :fsm_angry:
I wish to complile acts of Apastacy; I submit these for your opinion:

1) Using cheese from a can
2) Eating pasta from a can
3) Drinking alcohol-free beer
4) Eating rice on a Friday
5) Not carrying at least one, one-dollar bill on you in case of Stripper
6) Atkins
7) Saying "G'yar!" without squinting one eye
8 ) Hearing an ID theory without mentioning FSM

Consequence is His Noodliness' being irked at you. Absolution at the next beer or real pasta... or being really really hungry at the time.

More, please, and discuss.

If you're on Atkins you should be excommunicated.

Hmm... I'm not sure, but with giving up carbs, you're giving up pasta, so I guess you're excommunicating yourself.

The pope has the power to excommunicate in the Catholic Church.

If that's to be applied here, then it's all up to KC.

Though I kinda like the idea that people are self-excommunicated.

Even the wish to be seperated from our Noodly master should not seperate us from Him. He should accept all no matter what. You may reject him, he will never reject you, no matter what!

although I don't have anything to say for the current discussion, I have a little problem with #1

catdrchris wrote:1) Using cheese from a can

using is a broad term. I assume you mean using cheese from a can for eating or food.

canned cheese creates copious ammounts of laughter and good times.

so just to clarify, that means using cheese from a can for FOOD, right?

for humour would be promoted, I imagine.

I would imagine!
For there is nothing more entertaining that cheese whiz up an un-knowing drunkards nostrils.

I guess you could use it for other stuff too. But thats the only thing I could think of.

Think of the poor pastafarians in McMurdo! (we do have pastafarians in McMurdo, right?)
