only date in february that is open for me would be the 18th, although the 11th is possible, though we probably won't have a definite location by then :D

me and my parents will be flexible for dates, but a definite location is more important than a definite date.

~Qwerty

p.s. my mom said "we could drop you off somewhere at 3" (they have something at 3:30 on the 11th). meaning they'd leave me alone with... you people.

not sure if that means my parents are really trusting, or really stupid.

I'll be the one in a van with the windows blacked out, carrying a large gunny sack. No threat there...

The 18th sounds lovely unless someone has any objection.

You're in Virginia, what is best - Rosslyn, Falls Church or Fairfax?

well, considering I'm in Fairfax, fairfax would be best. the stop I get on the metro is Vienna, last VA of the orange line, so that should pretty much give you an idea for where I am.

The 18th at 3pm would be fine with me. Gotta check with the spouse. (NEWS FLASH: I'm a nice middle-aged mom and will probably bring my wonderful mini-FSMer and husband if that's okay. No threat here to minors, but if I have a beer with rumblemonk I'm apt to get boisterous. It's the pirate blood.)

I am always armed with a camera. How will we know eachother? Pirate gear? Red carnations? Boisterous spaghetti-eating? Loud "AAARRRRGGGGHHHHS?"

we could get modified HELLO stickers

HELLO
my name is

AJ

but since its stupid to give out real stuff on the internet, you know me as

QWERTYUIOPASD

or something like that. something to identify, like a type of clothing.

I would say we all wear fsm apparel, but I don't have any :( although I could easily just tape an FSM image onto my shirt.

speaking of which, DD, would it be okay if I make a shirt with FSM stuff and www.venganza.org on it? in Tech Ed, a class I am taking, we get to make a shirt with our own designs, and I haven't gotten any fsm shirts yet, but I'm afraid it may be illegal to do that :0

p.s. we need an fsm smiley with big eyes/open mouth, like a circle.

Generally we can tell because we will be the people who seem to be looking around for somebody else with a slightly baffled and foolish expression. :-D

also, we should be all holding cameras or video recording equipment, like DD asked. if you have none, we'll still be looking stupid and you'll be looking stupider

I was reading in another post about that, and I gathered that we are allowed to print images from the website in order to promote FSM. I have some iron-on transfer paper I got at a big chain store that is supposed to be used in computer printers. I'm going to try to figure it out before the gathering.

If I don't, you'll recognize me by my face, which is pretty stupid looking most of the time anyway and my unstraightened teeth, which look like someone dropped a box of Chicklets in my mouth and they fell every which way. No wonder I became a monk.

And just so I don't look even more stupid, we're going here, right?

Me too, but my mom won't be along.

Have we decided on Fairfax? Has anyone done a drive-by to be sure it's still there?

well those directions are yummy. 8 minute drive! :D

poor aquazoo... if we do another one, it'll be nearer to you... or not.

if the adress provided by Sir Francis Drake (11725 Lee Hwy) is correct, then tell me, so I can inform my parental units. whose hair is shorter than mine.

as for drive-byes, I'm close, but it'd be inconvient to check.

Mapquest says it'll take me about 34 minutes to get there, which isn't bad. I wonder if Rumblemonk's still going to come. He ought to Mapquest the location and see how long it'll take him from PA.

Maybe Qwerty could call their number and see if they still exist and will be open that day. I think the number was in the link I posted a couple of days ago.

actually since its only 8 mintues away my mom said we could drive over to see if its still there sometime. pity rumbelmonk can't come.

my mom was asking if these were kids I was meeting. if you don't mind, It might be useful for identifying each other if we give gender, age, extreme things (short, tall, hair color, hair style ect.) in one place.

Qwerty (a.k.a. AJ)
13
normal heigh (for my age)
brown hair longer than my mothers, whose hair is brown/blonde higlights.

see, that wasn't so painful.
