I made this image yesterday. See if you can spot the hidden (well, blurry) FSM, and read the secret message...

I can spot how to read the code, but the handwriting confuses me.

it makes no sense. I mean, I get the reference, but its not very pasta-y or FSMish.

Well, I didn't exactly make this for the FSM forum. I just made it as a lame pun, and I wanted to include some mysterious Da Vinci Code-ish things in the background, so I put the FSM on it, and some mysterious background handwriting. I decided that the blurry FSM was enough of an excuse to show it off on the forum...

Of course it is. I mean, whoever heard of anybody with the last name "Brown?" That's almost as ridiculous as "Smith."

The book we're seeing is NOT the same one. This one is actually a carefully and cleverly designed book to fool these people into reading about DaVinci Pasta, and about the sea....and pirates...and the message of His Noodly Love for us all!!

I figured this out on my own.

Dan Brown is a code name (or a cod name) for a mysterious Pastafarian author. Must be...

what I was refering to was the secret message. not the DaVinci code the book.

Cod Father

I got the DaVinci Code for Christmas 2004 - I still haven't read it (I am convinced that the person sitting on Jesus's right in 'The Last Supper' is a women however). I quite fancy this Cod book though - you could do a series of books:

The Cod Father,
A tale of two Cods etc etc :D
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.
