Your first week or so in Denver, you're going to feel as weak as an old man. It's the altitude. You need to drink lots of water, eat lots of protein and iron-rich food, and get your red blood cells into shape. I spent *ahem* rather longer than I had a visa for, in a place near Boulder 8300 feet up in the Rockies. First week or so I felt dreadful, after that I was fine, but when I got back to sea level in New York I felt like Superman - full of energy and strength.Rainswept wrote:So, on Tuesday I'm moving from Orlando area to Denver. The comparison makes me shiver. Today will be in the 80's, it's already over 70. Today in Denver the expected high is 28!
Here is the real debate, tho... If I get lucky in Denver, shouldn't that get me in to the mile high club?
