It has been unseasonably warm so far this winter. We are expecting a little snow tomorrow, but nothing too significant.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

Inappropriate. I should report you to a moderator...

Well I'm used to turning up at Twickenham Rail station and finding out from my friendly SWT employee that there are delays but this morning he said: "There is a points failure and a helicopter crash at Vauxhall!"

It's partly cloudy and cold, and wet. Slushy snow covers the ground. I need to shovel the driveway.

What counts for a serious snowfall in England. We've got about 5" so far, and there's chaos. Schools closed, roads blocked, jams everywhere. Luckily I don't need to get out of the village.

The poor old sheep opposite are looking pretty cheesed off, but at least the roads from Wales are closed, so they've got one thing to be happy about. :fsm_rock:

It's a good one though. The pilot was killed, as was one person on the ground but it could have been worse, there are lots of high rise luxury apartments in the area and the copter could have crashed into them with multiple casualties.

We have sunshine, it's quite a pleasant 4°C or so. Blue skies, not too windy.
I've been working in the garden, the dogs have been 'helping' me.

Residual snow on ground, but short-sleeve t-shirt weather out.
