TPBM still can't understand what Neil Armstrong meant by "One small step for man, one giant heap for mankind."

Have you seen the size of the steps on the LEM? That was a HUGE step for a man - even with the low gravity...

Latest hypothesis is that he meant "One small step for a man, one giant heap for mankind." which makes more sense.

TPBM has made a series of several experiments involving pants and firecrackers

1. Right after he got back, Neil said in interviews that his intention was to say, "That's one small step for *a* man; one giant leap for mankind," but that even he didn't hear the *a* clearly on the recording.
2. What's with this "giant heap" you're asking about???
