I never got my dog "Ernie" neutered...couldn't bring myself do it...

He was a pain in arse (quite literally where female dogs were concerned no matter what size or shape) throughout his life! At least he never tried to shag the cat!

Today I relocated the biggest snapper I've ever seen in the wild from a very busy stretch of road down to a quiet bog. (S)he weighed at least 40 pounds, and had a head bigger than my fist. Photos in the next few days if I can find time to download them at work (this computer can't handle it).

I 'high fived' a tarantula on saturday.

As long as you didn't shag it, you're probably OK. The main symptom of Tarantula bites is death - if you get that, you did get bitten.

It was a very cute Mexican Tarantula but my feelings were purely platonic.

I hope you got a photo of you hi-fiving the tarantula, Bart, although I can't help but feel that Mr Spider was displeased that you couldn't give him a hi-eight. :haha:

There may be a photo...I can't remember if we took one or not it was so exciting. Then there was a scorpion and a stick insect as well!

I love stick insects and scorpions. Never held the latter, but I have the former. They're really weird.

The cats found another mouse in the kitchen this evening. I was able to rescue him before any significant mayhem was done, and release him out in the barn. Hopefully he's clever enough to stay out there.

I recommend using the cat as a pillow-enhancer. She'll move soon enough.
