Alien prequel(?) Prometheus.

I quite like the look of this. The trailer is here.

I thought i'd already put this in this thread, but obviously not. I am looking forward to this too. I love the Alien franchise, and this looks set to be another decent film to add to it (yes, it most definitely IS an Alien prequel). There have been trailers of sorts online for a while now, and I keep looking at them and wondering when the hell it's finally going to arrive! :haha:

Ok, so I know the arrival date, but i'm just impatient.

My mate and I were discussing this film in the pub last night (both big fans of the Aliens franchise)...we're not sure it will work, but I hope it does.

Further evidence for my theory that all movies are improved with the presence of Russian accents

It will probably be more exciting than the alternative Epimetheus which would inlude dialog like:
-maybe we should just nuke the damn things?
-yeah, that's probably a good idea

I guess that, for most of us who grew up with the Alien(s) saga, Prometheus is one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

With Riddley Scott at the helm and with acting like in the Prometheus TED Trailer i would say that the movie is in good hands.

Here is to finding out more about the enigmatic "Space Jockey" :)

I accidentally read a spoiler on the story, which explained pretty much the theme of the film, so if you don't want to find out any more on the enigmatic space jockey before watching the film, divatz, i'd stay well clear of any articles about it. The 31st of May will soon be upon us. (UK getting it one week before the US? Wow!)

Andre 3000 to play Jimi Hendrix in biopic. I look forward to seeing him stand up next to a mountain and chop it down with the edge of his hand.

Very droll, Roy. :haha: I've never heard of Andre 3000 (weird name), so i'm wondering: Is he experienced enough to do this? Well, as long as it's stones free, it should be ok...

I read Hayley Atwell may be in it too. She's a foxy lady.

^ DYKT that is the only Outkast song I know, and the tiny piano part turns into a relentless earworm whenever I *hear* the name Andre 3000? (Thank you very much, Roy...) :haha:

I'd say he can play the part, Roland.
