Speaking of Lucasarts and re-releasing: someone on Reddit had an idea that would earn Lucasarts a boatload of cash. Do an HD re-release of X-wing/Tie Fighter, and make it online.

I wish they would do that to the space battle part of The Old Republic.

Moist Awesome !

Massive space battles throughout the solar system !

Star Wars Galaxies had something like that, and being an MMO, you could potentially have many ships up in space. You could fly all sorts of different types of spacecraft from the films (all 6), including the X-wing, Tie Fighters, Tie Interceptors/Bombers, YT-1300s (Corellian Cruisers/Millennium Falcon), Jedi Starfighters, Belbullab 22 (General Grievous' ship), and even Y-Wings, A-wings, B-wings, and the Naboo N1 Starfighter. There were even points where you'd be able to go out into deep space to take on a Star Destroyer, which was really cool.

Finished Metroid: Other M. It was, meh. I liked the fact that gave Samus a decent back story, but the whiny, navel-gazing character they made her into just contradicted the stoic nature that has defined her since the 1980's. The Ninja Gaiden-inspired combat system was fun, but felt clunky, especially when I had to switch the wiimote position. I would have rather they just had you use the nunchuk, it would have been much smoother. And the plot fell flat. It was like, they wanted to get away from the stereotypical Metroid plot, but instead got sucked harder into it and delivered a dull, emotionless finale.

I've got the Scrolls!

(The Elder Scrolls that is).

I've got a spell called 'Courage' and when I blast it at my delightful female warrior companion Lydia she shouts "I've never been so ready!"
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

:lech: Oh dear, Bart. :haha: Congrats on getting Elder Scrolls.

I've downloaded the client for a fantasy MMO called Aion. Several friends play it (from my old guild in Star Wars Galaxies), so at least I won't be alone, but my graphics card keeps playing up, so it's a no-go for now.

These Scrolls are more trouble than they're worth...they attract big nasty dragons.

Huzzah! I completed the level in Spyro that was giving me trouble! I also finished all the other Beast Makers' Home levels except Wild Flight, but unfortunately after I beat the boss and completed his level I forgot to save, so I have to go through the whole thing again looking for five gems at the very end. But that's not hard.

Congratulations, ADoS. Sometimes a break is all that's needed.

Nice armour there, Bart. It reminds me a little of Sauron's.

Oh yes I'm a real baddass!

But if I take the helmet off I look as camp as Julian Clary.

I finally got myself Monkey Island 1 & 2 special edition. I feel a little bit like a sucker though because I still got the original release for Amiga but I still need to have it. And besides, my Amiga is buried somewhere in my parents house and digging it up would be a hassle.

Btw, Diablo 3 is coming out soon. Is anyone else but me going to week semi-of to play it?
