Million for the Monster challenge - that's why I'm here.

Those of us who belong to Team Church of the Spaghetti Monster on kiva.org are aiming at getting to $1M in kiva loans by 3-20-12. Can anyone tell me what is the best way on this forum to communicate that so more get involved?

If you don't know what kiva is - it is a site where you can lend money to people in third world countries who are working to better themselves. Most of them are working to expand their farming or small business endeavors.

Reaching $1M is our first goal. Then we will loan toward becoming the all-time highest loaning religious congregation group on kiva!

Welcome to the forum! You will notice that there are advertisements at the bottom of the page here in the forum. We get some merchandise ads, some for car badges, T-shirts, certificates of ordination, but we also have adverts for Team FSM on Kiva.org. Those of us who have a couple of bucks to spare probably already have some money in the system. Those of us who are strapped for cash... er... probably don't.

Hello,

I used to suffer from short term memory loss, for years I would walk through a door and wonder where I was.
It was a large building with a person nailed to some wood and a man in a dress - then a person claiming to be my nan would give me an orange with a candle atop it and a nifty red sash...

..Years after these traumatic events one day the FSM in his wisdom replaced my malfunctioning frontal lobe with Singapore Noodles and I looked upon the face of meaty/carb based perfection and never again darkened the door of that place of curious fear.

I have to admit to being very confused when I first stumbled upon this site. [b]"Pastafarians"!!! Wow!! So I Googled the term and went to Wikipedia to find out more. Fascinating!

What also caught my attention is that the founder: Bobby Henderson attended the University of Oregon, and I live in Portland, Oregon. Hi Bobby!! You have an amazing imagination!
