The energy companies are so mean it's wonder no one's come up with the idea of changing their name from unimaginative 'EDF Energy' or 'British gas' to 'The Global Warming Company' and selling Global warming back to us at an extortionate rate.

That is correct, a large proportion of UK electricity is made by French nuclear power stations and any new UK nuclear power stations are almost certainly going to be built by EDF. Good thing David Cameron's so keen to piss off the EU to allow UK bankers to f*** things up again
