The Ugly Fashion Game

Postby Roy Hunter » Thu Oct 27, 2011 6:14 am

There are no winners in this game, and the only loser is sartorial elegance. Post pictures of ugly clothing, footwear, handbags, hats, cars, jewellery and watches etc. masquerading as fashion. Oneupmanship is positively encouraged.

My opening gambit. Apparently these are wellington boots:

^ They are NOT wellington boots. Who ever heard of wellies having laces, heels and not coming up higher? Anyways, this is my entry. FSM, I hate Burberry. I've hated it from the first moment I saw it, back when Chavs were Townies:-

Agreed, they look like a squaddie has been told to turn a pair of combat boots into evening wear for his girlfriend :haha:

I humbly submit the bizarre hat worn by one of the dossers in the palace.

I have maintained my sangfroid through many garb choices, starting with the capetacular Jon Pertwee.
But, there really is no excuse for this.

Fashion is bad for your feet.

As it's Halloween I'm putting forward Vlad the Impaler's questionable taste in garb and moustache:

Bart, Vlad's taste in textiles and bling was superior to this fashion "don't":

Hey now, Bart's been designing his avatar for months. Don't believe me? Look at page 32 of the Picture Association thread.

After reading this thread, I dreamed that I was trying on the weirdest footwear; they consisted of high-heeled sandals inside a wide, see-through stocking-like tube that pulled up the leg and tied around the knee with a drawstring. :barf:
