US of A, California, Yolo County, Woodland,1244 Fortna Avenue, The Food Bank solicits donations, recovers, collects, and salvages food from a variety of donor sources then distributes to dozens of nonprofit programs and agencies that in turn distribute to thousands of individuals in Yolo County. Please take the time to learn more. Perhaps you can help us help others..., I think they have a branch in Davis too, but the website won't give me the address, http://www.foodbankyc.org/

US of A, California, Yolo County, Davis, Corner of 5th and D Streets, STEAC provides food, clothing, furniture and holiday boxes to the most vulnerable people in Yolo County. To donate, call the STEAC services line at (530) 758-5444, and a volunteer will give you an appointment to drop off your donation at the food closet on the south east corner of 5th and D streets. For those who are not inclined to leave their chairs, here's the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank's online donation page! Good for Canadian users as they'll cut you a tax receipt, but they don't look set up for international orders.

Check with their local churches. If the churches don't sponsor the food bank, they do usually supply most of the volunteers, so they'd know.

There are several food banks in Kentucky dear. Louisa, Harlan, and Hazard each have interfaith food banks to donate to. Don't know about central or western KY, but I imagine there are some options there as well.

For Aussies, always the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul.

Locally, we have one more, the Tribe of Judah, a motorcycle club, at the boxing hall behind Centrelink in Gympie. They sell $25 'shopping trolleys' of about $150 worth of food, and Kevin is a top bloke.
