Qwertyuiopasd wrote:Some friends at the radio station and I are putting together a joint-blog to blag about our shows and music and stuff in general. We're using Blogger though, and my account name there (like everywhere else) is Qwertyuiopasd. The trick is that that doesn't really sound like a moniker one would associate with a pirate radio personality. So I was thinking of changing it to a more piratey name.
But then it occurred to me that a better idea would be to just create a new blogger account with the pirate name attached to it. I'll probably also be co-hosting a show with my friend again this year, and if not I still might want to host a show not about pirate music and not as a pirate (crazy, I know).
But, of course, I'm completely stumped for a good name. Any ideas for a good pirate name that isn't too generic, lame, or already taken? Something musically related, perhaps. Though more general could be good, too, as I might use the name as a default pirate persona on other occasions.
The closest thing I've had was a D&D character who was both a pirate and an Ice witch, named Captain Blank (named after the FFIX character, originally). Not sure it makes sense as a name or is particularly piratey to the wider population, though.
