Have you seen the Bald Eagles yet TS?

I went to see some Golden Eagles in Scotland once but I got covered in Ticks instead!

Yes, I've been to see them, but I don't have a zoom lense for my good camera and the digital doesn't zoom in enough.
I can post pixs of little black dots, but that wouldn't be much fun.

I was able to see at least one Eaglet in the nest with my binoculars.

Oh lord! If he's not your first lab, be prepared for 5 years of puppyhood at least. Our's (Bogie-RIP) didn't calm down until he was almost ten!

sorry for the double posty.

He's actually my first dog, lol! But I got very lucky with him, he's actually very calm for a lab, which is to say, very excited for any other dog, lol! Luckily, he does listen very well, so despite loving to jump, he only jumps near me, not actually on me!!! Well, most of the time, haha

Bogie was a jumper also but also didn't listen so well.
Ah, the stories I could tell about him........... sigh.

Well, good luck with your Dexter, he is a handsome lad.
He IS neutered, isn't he?

The other morning, the radio announced it was 'International Hug-Your-Cat Day", so hubby tried to give Sanka an International Hug; but she wasn't in the least bit keen.

The following morning, however, Sanka approached him, demanding a cuddle. Hubby decided that it was her independent nature that made her decide that she was in charge of when she should be hugged; I decided that it was because, in the feline world, it was 'International Hug-Your-Ape Day'. :haha:

The newts are doing well. It's getting through the winter that's the difficult bit, I don't think any survived from last year but I'm hoping to have a bigger batch this time.

On my way to work today I saw a Momma Mallard duck with her three little ones crossing the highway in front of me! Lucky for her there wasn't alot of traffic.
Dumb duck.

I am sitting out at the back of the building, and Milo and his friend Tinkerbell are playing on the grass. I say playing, but I think she is in season and wants to play some other way :lech: .

Milo, on the other hand, just wants to play with his football all day. Forget animals, that is humanity in microcosm.

Our Hamster Jerry is an escapologist. But having escaped (I think it's usually due to my daughter forgetting to shut the cage door) he usually makes his way downstairs and comes to say hello to us in the living room. Last night he escaped again and we found him in the dustbin! (alive and well I may add).
