Loose Canon - Hymnal Submissions

Postby Platypus Enthusiast on Sun Mar 29, 2009 4:50 pm

Ahoy dudes. The wise and starchy Second Council of Olive Garden is searching for holy scripture to be added to the Loose Canon. The Council is only accepting stuff the fits the whole FSM thing, so no hate-mongering, supporting things that obviously contradict our teachings, or general douchey stuff.

I need hymns for a hymnal that will be included in the Loose Canon. If you've already written one here in the forum that you want to submit for the hymnal, you can just post the link to it here.

 guess most of us only sing in the shower.
There is a good one already penned by Bob Marley - Redemption Song - which starts...

Old pirates, yes, they rob I
Sold I to the merchant ships
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit

Might see if it can be polished to serve His Noodliness
Send lawyers, guns and money...

Go for it, if only because it amuses me to think just how incoherently angry that would have made Elijah :haha:

Well, there is always Touched By His Noodly Appendage by Pirates R Us...
http://shiitakemushroomsmusic.bandcamp. ... um/red-box

Pirates grow few, over the years
Spaghetti Monster, is shedding tears
His wrath doth descend, every morning
Turns up the global warming

La la la la...
Spaghetti, Spaghetti
We sing our praises to thee!

Pull up the anchor
Raise the sails and we're off!
Guide the ship slow and steady
For heaven
Is a checkerboard tablecloth
In the sky - we can fly
With Spaghetti!

So praise be to thee, Oh Noodly Master
May we reach the beer volcano faster
We'll kneel down, and pray to thee
In your stripper factory

Repent all ye sinners, ye women and men
Dress like a pirate, and say "Ramen!"
He'll reach down from heaven with noodly ease
Anoint you with parmesan cheese
