I'm surprised nobody's posted about this already. This seems like a good time for a second open letter, although it's a bit late now, I suppose.

As a resident of Texas, I haven't met a single Texan that defends calling slave trade "triangular trade" or the exclusion of Thomas Jefferson as a founding father.

I can't believe that this garbage passed.
