The best advice I can give to fight this stigma is to form your own local Pastafarian chapter. Recruit some friends, hang out on Fridays, eat pasta, drink, be merry, have some sermons, maybe. Do charity work, organize parties, etc. Build a community, and all that. It's not as difficult as it might sound.

The Loose Canon should be coming out this spring, spiritual texts compiled by members of this forum. Once that is out you should have a lot of material for quoting and sermons, though not exactly modern guidelines for starting a local chapter.

None whatsoever. We're a completely ground-up, grassroots style religion. You just do your thing, and we'll all link up nationally later on. The half pirate ship sounds like a good idea, though perhaps a little expensive.
