What's the best way to great a fellow Pastafarian?

Postby Yoss@ri@n on Fri Jan 29, 2010 12:21 pm

I've converted a work colleague. The picture of heaven did it. How can we great each other in a way that shows the world that :worship: we are believers?

A greeting of "Ahoy!" or just "Yarrrggh!" is always good.

From personal experience "Are ye one of our noodly brethren?" seems to work.

Me an' me mateys have a secret handshake... We hold up our hands like we're going to do a high five--and then we miss each other's hands by a mile.

You can get creative or dramatic with your High-five fail for extra points

"Hello" usually does it for me.

Everyone is a Pastafarian; most are still to be enlighted so i greet them all the same. (just as a warning Yoss@ri@n there will be a large number of catch-22 references from me and Roy Hunter, good luck)
Weird? Of course i'm weird! Life would be much less interesting otherwise. Eccentricity is the way to go.

Only those who are insane are allowed to abstain from making Catch-22 references. And only an insane person would want to refer to Catch-22. But, of course, we would not prohibit anyone who wants to refer to Catch-22 from doing so.

Catch-22? I never actually finished it, I got about 3/4s through and never picked it up again. Bad habit of mine, especially as I enjoyed the stuff I had read.

I agree with Pythonist though "Hi" works just fine.

My fathers copy of Catch-22 was stolen from me by a "friend" who i will probably punch in the face should i ever see him again....
