Wow. Miss a couple days, miss a lot. TS, I'm glad your cat's doing well! And thanks for your concern, but...

Good news! Vet says that the weird lumps are BENIGN! Weird fluid coming out was because she scratched it and it's infected, and as a just in case measure the lumps are being removed during surgery on Tuesday. Puppy dog's A OK. :jack:

Always great news when are critters are o.k.!!!

p.s YEARS ago I had a dog that looked like your's. She was part German Shepard, part Collie.
We (not the current Mr. TS) got her from a shelter. Her name was Nina.
The former Mr. TS kept her when I moved out.

That's Lady. We (my dad, really - he's always been a sucker for both dogs and damsels in distress) saved her ages ago. Her family was moving to an apartment that wouldn't allow pets, and if they couldn't find a home for her they were going to have her put down. My dad happened to see a poster in the vet's office when he was in getting wormers for my poor kitty cat. He took us all to look at her and we brought her home. Her family was extremely happy that we took her. We've actually seen them a few times since - they always ask about her.

We once had a German Shepherd called Lady. She was a lovely animal. We got her at the age of 13 months from a rescue kennels. She had been horribly ill-treated. We had her until just before her thirteenth birthday.

Abused and elderly animals are very difficult to rehome. That is why we have our current pair, a fourteen-year-old dog and a thirteen-year-old cat, both rehomed because their previous owners' circumstances changed so they could not keep them.

During the winter, this was the closest to the fire Sanka would let Amber lie. So Amber nicked a cushion from the sofa and rested her head on it.

I really miss having dogs. We had many rescue dogs over the years, the last was a Jack Russel called 'Jack'. (Original, eh?) He was pretty rough when we got him and would bite you for any or no reason. Four years on he was much calmer and quite happy; then six weeks ago he bit my little grandson. After provocation, it's true, but we couldn't take the risk so we took him to a re-homing centre. I feel so sorry for him: he had settled down so well.
In my state of health we've decided not to have another one: it would hardly ever get a walk.
We're not cat people, so that's it.
Amber, be a good dog and draw me another cartoon - the last one was so funny.

Yes, but you forgot to mention that that's true only after every available surface has been covered in paper.

Being it was New Year's Eve when I typed that, I'm using that as my excuse for the mistake.
Don't care what ya say, I'm sticking to it. :guilty:

Oh Ubis Dude, maybe you once mentioned being allergic to dogs?
I know you are allergic to some kind of critter.
