TS; like Amber, I'm so glad Max is feeling better!
We've had to experiment a little with Sanka's diet because she was getting skin problems. We seem to have the balance right at last; her coat is glossy, the scabs have vanished and she actually likes the food! It is amazing how many words a cat has for "You're joking, right? I'm not eating that!"
And no, Amber, you may NOT sniff her carpets!

Here she is:
There is really not that much difference between keeping a cat or dog as pet or a turtle.
Just less hair, noise and feeding. If I put her in warm water for a while she feels just as warm as a cat or dog. She even prefers cat food to turtle food. I haven't tried dog food.

She's about half letter size but more rounded in the corners.
