Think carefully when turning down a lady (if I may be so bold as to call Elvalia a lady)...I remember turning down Delyth Morgan in year 8 at school...a decision I made much too lightly now I look back...just because I was in training for the Conker tournament. I didn't get any more offers until year 10!

Mind you she did turn into a man so perhaps I made the right decision.

Perhaps, if you had dated her, she might have persuaded you to turn into woman!

In the words of Genesis 'Selling England by the Pound' Chapter 5 verse 10 'Cinema Show':

Once a man like the sea I raged, once a woman like the earth I gave...

...and there is in fact more earth than sea...

Peter Gabriel's words not mine...but you could be right Delyth could have put me in touch with my feminine side and where would my conker skills have gone then!!!

You could always have soaked them in vinegar and then varnished them, much less skill required when the feckers can be used for demolition work :scientist:

Spam spam glorious spam.

In other news, the new Guinness advert is available. Not sure about it, the backwards evolution with the mudskipper is still the best. Still, I have a new desktop background. Google doesn't have the right picture but it's similar to this (black background though, it looks like the beer is just holding itself in the shape of a pint) :drinking:

Pharyngula is good for nice pictures as well as debate with lunatics.

This was my background for a long time. I took it when I went home at the beginning of October.

This is an old desk top picture, which I created very quickly for myself and a colleague, as a protest against all the postit notes we kept getting stuck all over our computers by our nasty boss:
