The 'Insult a Scotsman' Game.

This is where we confer honor on those who have earned the title of Prophet. Or, where we mock them. One or the other.

The Scots had a rebellion against themselves? Revolt against the English, they are British.

United Kingdom = United States.
Britain = Contiguous United States (as the UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland).
England, Scotland etc. = Texas, Ohio etc.

(And yes, I am probably being unnecessarily pedantic)

Dammit, can't you people follow instructions? You're supposed to be calling me names, not each other!

Soccer hooligan?

No, No, that's the point. It was a double-whammy insult; calling him a hooligan, and using the American term for (soccer) football.

This will be going to a vote soon...when I've worked out how to do it.

What have we got so far:

Dances with sheep
Sasquatch Scotsman
BalamoRoy
Puppymaster
Kilt Happens
Thistle Muncher
Mrs Hudson Bay Company
Laugh_Roy_oag (I just made that one up)
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

I'm still sulking about the results of the Wales - Scotland 'friendly'. As if you couldn't guess.

I like Dances with Sheep, Sasquatch Scotsman, if you changed it to Laph-Roy-aig I'd like that, and obviously Puppymaster.

Following on from DB's earlier revelation that Bristol is in Wales, I was delighted to find out that he thinks Lothian is on the West coast. Them's the benefits of an English education.

I like this one too. I know it was Mike Myers, but was it SNL? I've only ever seen clips of it.

OK so for Roy we've got:

Dances with sheep
Sasquatch Scotsman
BalamoRoy (probably drop that one)
Puppymaster
Kilt Happens
Thistle Muncher
Mrs Hudson Bay Company
Laugh_Roy_oag (I had some last night :drinking: )
Wales 3 Scotland 0 sack the f******g manager!
"If it's no Scottish, it's CRAP!!"

I think we usually choose 7 alternatives.
