I am going to weigh in here...I have a very young baptist kid I hang out with at college (I am their resident Master Yoda, since I know what a breast actually feels like) and he told me that they were introduced to the FSM at a church camp, and it was presented as a "heathen faith that prays to a false god for the purpose of mocking the One True Faith!" He honestly thought Pastafarians were SERIOUS BUSINESS about this stuff. So I have invited him to come aboard, and he has lurked some and realized that this is all serious in the realm of education, but otherwise is good natured and funloving.
