It's sheep I like to stare at not goats... :lech: mind you goats are quite fetching in a similar way.

The real Robinson Crusoe 'Alexander Selkirk', a Scotsman, was on intimate terms with the goats on his island apparently.

If you say so. I'll trust your expertise in the area of goat lovin'.

Producer Barrie Osborne (Matrix trilogy, LotR trilogy) is going to make a biopic about the Prophet Mohammed. They've got an authentic Islamic scholar on board, and in accordance with Islamic law, the prophet himself will not be depicted on screen.

Wonder how they'll do that: the whole film in first-person camera from the view of the prophet himself?
"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.'" - Carl Sagan

Or will it be a religion/sci-fi crossover: "Muhammad the Invisible Prophet"

Edit - I wonder if they'll include the paedophilia in the film?

Why? A marriage is a fairly major part of someone's life and I'd expect it to be included in a biographical film. Mind you, a marriage between a seven year old girl and a grown man might be frowned upon a little, hence why I was wondering if they'll just gloss over that part.

Or was it my reference to the Invisible Man? :scientist:

So is having a face, but for reasons best known to the world of Islam we don't get to see it. I would suspect that the whole 'marrying a little girl' thing might be treated with similar tact / diplomacy / cowardice.

If you feel like running off to DIY Amateur Art and Literature Museum and posting some amusing cartoons on the subject, you might want to check with a Mod first.

Tempting as it is, I have all the artistic talent of a blind hedgehog, in a bag. Anyway, I'm not the one making the film about it :moon:

Seems like a daft idea to me, they're bound to be mobbed by someone.

Edit -

Why? Really, why? The third one was shocking.
