So I know that Friday is His holy day. Is there a name for it? And anything special we need to do? :paranoid:

We call it "Friday". And we eat Pasta. I don't see how it can get any more special than that.

I think that when i get a job i'll wait until i figure out if my boss has a sense of humor (and isnt a fundie) and tell him/her that i need every Friday off because it's a religious holiday for my faith and then watch the look on his/her face! If i have any luck he/she will say "RAmen, brother. No."

Dress like a pirate when you ask. This is crucial. Or ask Wendy in HR. She is pretty cool about it.

If i get a job in any of my fields, dressing like a pirate on a regular basis may not be the greatest idea....

Dressing like a pirate is ALWAYS a good idea. I sported a patch on my uniform in Iraq of the Jolly Roger until I was ordered to remove it as it was "unprofessional." The FSM on the Kevlar helmet was of course allowed to stay.

Lets say i get a job in a psychiatric ward...would it be nice to walk into the room occupied by a person suffering fron schizophernia in my full pirate regalia? How 'bout violent people ripping out the earrings?

As a person of questionable sanity myself, I think the patients at any mental facility will not only love it, but they'll begin to look forward to it.

And maybe wear clip-on earrings. Just while you're at work.
