Windy = Autumn.
Stormy + Hot = Summer.
Winter = Cool nights.
Spring = People having sex in the park.

How do you tell in Ye Olde England Towne?

Autumn = Leaves everywhere, raining.
Winter = Freezing, raining/sleeting/hailing/snowing(occasionally)
Spring = Sneezing, green stuff everywhere, raining.
Summer = Sunburn, semi-naked people during the day, sunny/raining (It will alternate between the two with monotonous regularity).

I'm beginning to see a pattern here :annoyed: Also, semi-naked people appear throughout the year at night in town centres, it only counts as summer if they're seen between 10am-5pm.

Remember that seriously hot weather about a month ago? Spent about 4 hours in a pub garden and was decidedly lobster-like afterwards. It doesn't help that I'm the stereotypical blonde, fair-skinned guy who can burn under a particularly bright light-bulb :blush:

Also, I haven't been outside much in the last year or so and so I'm even paler than usual.

Currently we've got a really weird, dark rain here right now.
"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.'" - Carl Sagan

Fun fact: I thought the song 'Chocolate rain' was about poop for a good few months. Don't ask me why. :facepalm:
Apparently, it's less literal, and was referring to racism. Funny how that works out..
Look! A new sig.

Whatever colour the rain is, we're having plenty of it in the UK. I get soaked on my way to work, I get drenched on the way home...if there is even a whisper of the words 'Drought' or 'Hose Pipe Ban' I'm going to go around to the Water Company and I'm going to wring out my underpants over their heads! :furious:

Well, using a hosepipe when you're getting flooded is pretty anti-social Bart :idiot:

Thar be a storm a brewn' off the starboard bow, no wait, off the stern, no it's aft. Crap, it's headed straight down from the crow's nest. Ooops, wrong again. It's mighty wind arrivn' in from the bow-wow.
Oh. It's only heat lightening.

We have a thunderstorm. Rain was heavy for a while, but is a sprinkle now. Very humid today.

No rain today. Very nice, not too humid.
The wind is picking up so that heat lightening might just be the warm up act.

Rain today. Not as much as there was yesterday, but it was still rain. But, get this - it was only at my house. 10 minutes down the road either way it was clear. :furious:

We had friends over for dinner, and they brought their old convertible like, Thunderbird or something. We went out to get the top over it when we realized it was going to start raining, and we did it just in time too.

Same weather as Ubi Dubius, as usual. That lightning was fun.

It's a Winter night and I'm sitting here in a t-shirt and shorts. I went outside earlier and barely felt cool.

Today, and every day for the last couple of weeks, it has been sunny and pretty fantastic.

Yeah, I never really did believe the whole "The seasons go the other way around south of ecuador" scam.

It continues to be a mild Summer. Either that or I'm just staying inside too much.
