Windy = Autumn.
Stormy + Hot = Summer.
Winter = Cool nights.
Spring = People having sex in the park.
How do you tell in Ye Olde England Towne?
Autumn = Leaves everywhere, raining.
Winter = Freezing, raining/sleeting/hailing/snowing(occasionally)
Spring = Sneezing, green stuff everywhere, raining.
Summer = Sunburn, semi-naked people during the day, sunny/raining (It will alternate between the two with monotonous regularity).
I'm beginning to see a pattern here

Also, semi-naked people appear throughout the year at night in town centres, it only counts as summer if they're seen between 10am-5pm.
