I've held a strong belief in FSM and the repopulation of pirates for the last few years. Now I'm trying to explain it all to my fiancee, and he has a very important question:

What do the hats look like?

Because, you know, a religion's importance is directly related to the ridiculousness of its hats.

Are we talking Pirate? I'd be betting a tricorn hat in that case.

I'm sure someone could fashion a true FSM hat, though. Googly eyes, and a bunch of Noodly Appendages affixed everywhere? That or Tricorns, I'd go with.

Well. since we're pirates, the hat would be whatever kind of hat that strikes your fancy, that you could pillage. I'd like to get a really big tricorn with lots of gold trim and feathers. You can always go with a bandanna tied around your head, too.

Over on the main page, I think I've seen some knitted or crocheted FSM hats. But those aren't much good in the summer.

Something like I'm wearing, perhaps?

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

Don't listen to ^ he apparently doesn't know anything about tractors or the people who own them.

Back to hats. I think mine is just dandy.

Something with extra storage capacity - either that or big pockets and a normal pirate hat. For the loot, you see.
