Mitchell and Webb are back on as well (BBC2), they're usually hilarious.

Is "Black Books" still on across the pond? I liked that show...

I've also been watching "lie to me" and "mental". Both are okay. "Mental" is trying really hard to establish the characters, but it's entertaining.

I like Lie to Me, but I don't think Mental is gonna go far. It just feels like too many other things I've seen, and as you said, it tries a bit too hard. I haven't completely given up on it yet, but any show that's this formulaic after only 3 shows is pretty sketchy*.

I'll agree that House is a great show, and it IS very formulaic, but he just carries the show with his wit abd the fact that you don't expect your healer to be a total d*ck.

Top Gear is good stuff.

I have been watching a lot of X-Play recently, and Morgan Webb is a definite babe.

I've been watching a bit of Dr. Who on Netflix. It's good stuff, but I have a feeling it'd be even better if they'd let me watch all the episodes. For whatever reason, it says only certain episodes are not available for online viewing, and I just don't understand why. They did the same thing with Dead Like Me, and it kind of pisses me off. They don't offer part of a movie, so why only part of a TV show?

Try Megavideo, I watched every episode of Dexter on there.

It's pretty gripping.

I am really into The Inbetweeners at the mo, probably only on telly in the UK currently but it is hilarious.

.....and the American Office is so funny, Steve Carell is awesome and i say this as a long time devotee of TOS with Ricky Gervais.

I think I mentioned it in this thread, it's disturbing how accurate it is. My family all like it but every episode my dad will say something like 'Does this sort of stuff really happen?' and 'Do you really talk like this?'.

The episode where they went to the caravan club party had me crying with laughter.

Mitchell and Webb is the only one that springs to mind at the moment. Robin Hood is apparently quite good but I haven't seen it.

Also, it's not television but there's a new series of The Now Show on :haha:

I really like watching Wipeout. The whole thing looks like fun to me, but I gotta wonder how many people come away with broken ribs etc lol.

Some guy in my math class tried out this summer, and cracked 2 ribs. He got a free t-Shirt lol.

You know, I'm not minding Castle. It's formulaic, but Fillion is funny, and there are a couple of Firefly references there too, like in the episode I'm watching right now, Fillion and his female cohort (can't remember the name) go to a party, and someone there refers to it as "one fine little shindig" or something like that, which was the name of one of the episodes.

It's different enough, and it's pretty clever.

I used to love The Chaser's War on Everything, but then they turned into completely and utterly unrepentant assholes who don't deserve to live.

They should get terminal illnesses.

Seriously.

I'll link later...
