Depend on what I'm attacking, the old and nice cutlass when attacking rich but weak tourist. But when you attack a strong, full of weapon big ship with 157 American marines on, I'm thinking the a couple of pirates with pistal is preferable than five pirates with Cutlasses (but yes it's less spectacular i should agree)
