"How is it that hardly any major religion has looked at science and concluded, 'This is better than we thought! The Universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant. God must be even greater than we dreamed'? Instead they say, 'No, no, no! My god is a little god, and I want him to stay that way.'" - Carl Sagan

Andreas Katsulas is also a good link. It's a pity he passed away.

Kirk Lazarus: I'm a lead farmer, motherfucker!

Les Grossman: Now I want you to take a step back... and literally fuck your own face!

Kirk Lazarus: I don't read the script. The script reads me.

Jeff Portnoy: Alpa, if you untie me, I will literally suck your dick, right now.
Alpa Chino: Man, I told you for the last time, I love tha pussy!
Jeff Portnoy: I'll cradle the balls, stroke the shaft, work the pipe, and swallow the gravy. Get it over here, buddy. Let's do this.

Tugg Speedman: I killed one, Rick... the thing I love most in the world.
Rick Peck: A hooker. Oh Jesus, you killed a hooker!

Kirk Lazarus: I'm just like a little boy, playin' with his dick when he's nervous.

Cody: [after blowing up a row of palm trees with napalm] Mother Nature just pissed her pantsuit!

Rick Peck: I got the TiVo!

Les Grossman: The universe... is talking to us right now. You just gotta listen.
[turns on Flo Rider's "Low" and begins to dance to the beat]
Les Grossman: See, this is the good part, Pecker. This is when the job gets fun! Ask... and you shall receive!
Studio Executive Rob Slolom: [dancing along] Right...
Les Grossman: You play ball... we play ball. I knoowwww... you want the goodies!
Studio Executive Rob Slolom: Welcome to the goodie room!
Les Grossman: You paying attention? I'm talking... G5, Pecker! That's how you can roll. No more frequent flyer bitch miles for my boy! Oh yeah! Playa... playa! Big dick playa!
Studio Executive Rob Slolom: Swinging past ya knees!
Les Grossman: Big dick, baby!
Studio Executive Rob Slolom: Yep.
Les Grossman: [turns off the music] Or... you can grow a conscience in the next five minutes and see where that takes you.
Rick Peck: Now let me get this straight. You want me to let my client of 15 years, one of my best friends, die in the jungle alone, for some money and a G5?
Les Grossman: Yes.
Rick Peck: [pause] A G5 airplane?
Les Grossman: Yes... and lots of money... playaaaa!
[turns on the music and dances again]

Kirk Lazarus: I know what dude I am. I'm the dude playin' the dude, disguised as another dude!

We just saw Madagascar 2, and it had a wonderful line. The Lemur King had just persuaded the other animals that the way to end the water shortage was to sacrifice one of their number to the water gods by throwing them in the volcano. As they rush off to do this, the King says:

"Hurry up, before we all come to our senses!"

I'm stealing this for my signature.

Hurry up before we come to our senses...that is a GREAT line. I can see so many applications for it...

I haven't seen it, but another quote from that movie (by the same character) is great.
"It's more fun with your hands up!"

I say it regularly. With action. In school.

As an offtopic but related quote, here's my favourite before eating:
"You will remember me, before the end."
And then afterwards, when I'm finished that particular piece:
"Bring on the next challenger!"
A flap of the wings yesterday means big changes tomorrow.
Let's work together to keep the present inevitable.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

'Put the Mutherf*****g Lollypop down Mutherf*****!'

That's from the forthcoming: Life and Times of Nef yoo Blackbeard.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

I remember getting thoroughly sick of hearing the snakes on the plane line from "Snakes on a Plane". I never did watch that thing.

The thing about that movie is, it accomplished all it set out to do. The makers meant it to be a cheesy B movie, and that's what they did!

So if there were a B movie Oscars, Snakes on a Plane would trump every category, most likely.

So what's that film about exactly?

It's about a woman growing up in a gritty northern town who discovers that the woman she thought was her older half-sister is actually her mum,and the man she thought was her dad isn't - her real dad is the landlord of the local 'Wukkin' Men's Club'. It's one of Ken Loach's better ones, IMHO.

It's about Samuel L. Motherf*cking Jackson kicking pheromone-pumped reptilian ass about 30,000 feet.

...

Yeah...

It's good, trust me.

I mean, how many horror movies have the balls to end HAPPILY?
