What fun. I had a friend who worked on IPC women's magazines. He was a graphic artist but due to staff cuts he ended up with the job of compiling the crossword for 'Girl' magazine (back in the 80's). He set up a crossword so that all the answers were 'Kylie Minogue'!
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

I've nearly finished. I even got most of the foreign ones (like the very tough American ones).
I am stuck
on three across clues (and five of the accompanying down ones) which are driving me mad!

There are at least 8 letters filled in incorrectly, at least two of which are crossed letters - you have both the across answer and the down answer filled in, but the letter they cross on is wrong. PM coming.
