this one isn't music, but needs to be preserved for historical significance. The ORIGINAL Lord of the Rings movie.
I'll re-post this over in the interwebs thread, too.
"Mit der Dummheit kämpfen Götter selbst vergebens."
("Against stupidity, the gods themselves contend in vain.")
-- Friedrich Schiller (1759–1805)
Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.
-- Philip K Dick

OK, now let's look at four dimensions on the blackboard.
-- Dr. Joy

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

This needs to be preserved because the bass player - cool shades and mucho leather - is my old bass player from 1977, with whom I'm getting together this weekend for the first time in a quarter century or more to consume beer and act foolishly. Should be high times.

It's like a train wreck... you just can't look away, everything seems to happen in such slow motion that you cringe even before it hits.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

I may not stop cringing for days! Why...just, Why?

Treat her right, treat her right!
(Bart, you should be paying attention! If you hadn't sold your mum to the Aztecs Mr. T wouldn't be directing that "song" at you!)

He's such a good role model, that Mr. T. I pity the fool that doesn't treat his mother right.
A flap of the wings yesterday means big changes tomorrow.
Let's work together to keep the present inevitable.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

I pity the fool responsible for his 'wardrobe'.
