The "Who's Voice is That?" Contest!

Postby PantyGnawer on Thu Oct 30, 2008 6:22 pm

I've often wondered what many of you sound like in real life. Especially you foreigners.

I want to start a contest where we have to match members voices with their names. I will organize the submissions and not play since many of you have heard my voice on a previous youtube video and made fun of it. :x

Everyone who wants to play will need an ANONYMOUS youtube account. Meaning it has no other videos or any information that could give away their identity.

You'll need to record a video. Just make sure that you are not in the shot and say the following line:

Once upon a Time and a Very Good Time It Was There Was a Moocow Coming down along the Road and This Moocow That Was Coming down along the Road Met a Nicens Little Boy Named Baby Tuckoo.

Put it on that youtube account and send me the link via PM. When we have enough I'll release the links here along with a list of all the possible names.

Here is sample version I made just for the hell of it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYbfSKCHc6M

Even the most basic digital cameras have video these days so this shouldn't be that hard for most of us to pull off!

Hope you guys will play! Also, Please no pirate speak submissions for this one. If its popular we can run another contest in pirate speak!

I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Yeah, why precisely can't we say whatever the hell we want?

It makes it more regulated, I guess. If everyone said what they want, it could be longer, shorter, fatter, skinnier, whatever.

I'll play, but I'm going to have to find somewhere quiet first.

Well, I would play, but I don't have a digital camera, or cell phone, or any sort of recording device. Seriously.

Ech, you're going to have to wait a day or so for my submission. I'm sick, so my voice is really nasally. How do you get the flu in spring? How?

Exactly. And if you said what you want it become a clue as to your identity.

If you can find some sort of microphone (like in a headset) I think I know how you could do it using your computers sound recorder.

Nope. I have none of this "technology" of which you speak. I have a computer, and no extra bells and whistles. Sorry.

I'll play, but I'm going to need a few days to get this together, what with the no high-speed at home and the too-much-to-do during my noon hours. I'll have it to you by Tuesday, hopefully?

Can we change the rules slightly?

So the male members say,
Once upon a Time and a Very Good Time It Was There Was a Moocow Coming down along the Road and This Moocow That Was Coming down along the Road Met a Nicens Little Boy Named Baby Tuckoo.

And the female ones:

ooooo, ken....I want you.... soooo bad. Spank me. Spank me harder....oooooooooo, yeah, baby(breathy whisper at end of this line, perhaps romanian/other eastern-european accent)...You do it soooo goood!.......Give it to me.....Give it to me NOW!...

just a thought.

The "Talk Dirty To Me" contest, perhaps?

I'm with Elvalia. Tuesday sounds a good day for submissions.

ooh Ken, spank me... damn it was I supposed to upload my voice...??? haha, maybe when it's not nearly 1am and I risk waking my family by talking loudly into my mobile phone voice recorder...
I am a product of massive consumption- it's not my fault it's how I'm programmed to function
