I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.

What makes you think she's a witch?
Well, she turned me into a newt!
A newt?
... I got better.

This album begs the question "What day did the Lord create Spinal Tap, and couldn't he have rested on that day too?"

Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

Otto: Don't call me stupid.
Wanda: Oh, right! To call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people! I've known sheep that could outwit you. I've worn dresses with higher IQs. But you think you're an intellectual, don't you, ape?
Otto: Apes don't read philosophy.
Wanda: Yes they do, Otto. They just don't understand it. Now let me correct you on a couple of things, OK? Aristotle was not Belgian. The central message of Buddhism is not "Every man for himself." And the London Underground is not a political movement. Those are all mistakes, Otto. I looked them up.

There's always "Have fun storming the castle." from TPB.

[as Buttercup prepares to commit suicide with a dagger]
Westley: There's a shortage of perfect breasts in this world. It would be a pity to damage yours.

Westley: Can you move at all?
Buttercup: Move? You're alive. If you want I can fly.

Fezzik: You just shook your head... doesn't that make you happy?
Westley: My brains, his steel, and your strength against sixty men, and you think a little head jiggle is supposed to make me happy?

Buttercup: Oh, Wesley, will you ever forgive me?
Westley: What hideous sin have you committed lately?

Westley: Give us the gate key.
Yellin: I have no gate key.
Inigo Montoya: Fezzik, tear his arms off.
Yellin: Oh, you mean *this* gate key.

Buttercup: You mock my pain.
Westley: Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

Buttercup: We'll never survive.
Westley: Nonsense. You're only saying that because no one ever has.

I LOVE TPB! ^^
Kaylee: Wash, tell me I'm pretty.
Wash: If I were unwed, I would take you up in a manly fashion.
Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty?
Wash: 'Cause your pretty.
(Wash and Kaylee, Firefly, Heart of Gold)

It's a broken hearts parade
And I'm putting my heart out on display
There's no masquerade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band strikes up and they're playing a song
Dressed in black, and we're singing along to the
Broken hearts parade
I've never been better then I am today

The thin line between genius and insanity is less of a border than a union.

For once I agree with you teenyboppers about something entertainment-related. That movie was given to me for my sixth birthday, and it's the single thing that I haven't at some point sold. Not as good as the book, though. It never is. In fact, I think I'll go drag out the VCR and watch it again.

Yay! Someone agrees with me about the book!

We're not "teenyboppers", though.

Know any other fifteen year olds with whom you can discuss particle physics?

Kids are smarter than people give them credit for, and they all think they're the sole genius in a sea of retards. You're not that special, sorry.

Come and see the violence inherent in the system!
Help, Help! I'm being repressed!

I was once told that of all the charaters in movie history, I'm the most like Dennis.

Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony ... I mean you can't expect to wield supreme executive power just because some watery tart threw a sword at you ... if I went around saying I was emperor just because some watery bink had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.
