Arroha, Cap..yeah, The Rum Diaries is/are OK, but Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 is (very arguably, i think) his best "non-fiction" book..i picked F&L/LV cuz i've read it maybe 20-25 times since it came out in '71 (or thereabouts)...one more for the list: Jitterbug Perfume-Tom Robbins..("indigo, indigoing, indigone..")..

The Twilight series is AMAZING! I resisted it for a long time, too, but once I started reading it, I devoured them instantly! I only wish there were more books. I'm reading Ken Follett's Pillars of the Earth right now. Meh. I did read the excerpt online from Rattled! and can't wait to go buy it

It's another post-apocalyptic story, this one by an atheist author. It's like 1984 with hope.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.
