Public celebrations

Postby bel031vi » Mon Aug 25, 2008 9:45 am

What days are of special significance to the great Flying Spaghetti Monster?
Which days should we declare as public holidays and cross of in our diaries?
I think its important that we know as soon as possible so that we can book our pirate outfits from the costume shops well in advance.

There's holiday which runs most of December time, and International Talk Like A Pirate Day on September 19.

Might I suggest we take over Star Wars Day (May 4th) in the same way that the xtians took over pagan festivals like Saturnalia and Eostre. It's an excuse for dressing up, plus it's a feeble joke and I get the feeling her noodliness likes puns
All things scabbed and ulcerous,
All pox both great and small,
Putrid, foul and gangrenous,
The Lord God made them all.

Don't forget that every Friday is a holiday.
