Postby ChowMein on Fri Jul 18, 2008 12:22 am

Ahoy Mateys and fellow moggies !

I was just rolling in thee catmint and thinking about nuthun an e'rythun and stuff and just thought , "i'd wish I wrote that ", when I heard a song or whatever .

At thee momint i be wishing i'd wrote some of the album titles that The Moody Blues wrote , they had a good run going (IMHO) , loike ; On The Threshold Of A Dream , To Our Children's Children's Children , Days Of Future Passed and Every Good Boy Deserves Favor .

Thats all at the momint as I must get back to staring at the baseboards .

Here's a link to a spoken piece by someone you might recognize. He was twenty-two when he wrote it and he only performed it one time, in 1963.

Harr, dat be one'a da mosht plaid albums on me Ipod, thar. Yarr. Oh, Mad Willy, I agrrreeee about So Long, Marianne an' Suzanne, but if I be allowed, let me suhjest Faymos Bloo Rehncoht and Sistarrs o' Marcy.

Incident'ly, me fav'rit Cohen songs be covers by udder mewsishans. Check out Concrete Blonde's lahve parrrforrmans of Evarrr'bodee Nows, or mebbe Jeff Buckley's varshun o' Hallelujah. 'Course, tha' one I can't disaid If ah laik the Cohen varshun better.
