The balls can represent either male or female attributes.
The FSM doesn't really have gender as we understand it, so we have fallen back on the (possible patriarchal) tradition of using a male label rather than the awkward "His/Her/Its".
And the tentacles aren't really noodles, but He(She/It) created pasta to share some of the same attributes. I would assume that the same is true of meat (and meatless) balls.
