the stinking rose is the best resteraunt ever every coarse, meal, and solid food has garlic in it including the bread spread and deserts

just to ad to the confusion, I have also seen a bulb of garlic referred to as a House or a Head of garlic in various recipes.

I disagree. One of the many other things that improves garlic is butter. Another is putting a large, medium rare sirloin steak under it.

Yum....sauteed onions and garlic in butter. A not very nutritious, but sure to drive away your bedmate snack!

Many vegetables sauteed in garlic butter are terrific. I make baby carrots that way quite often. I'm glad garlic is so inexpensive. I usually go through 3-4 bulbs/week.
If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere committing evil deeds, an it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. I always grow my own garlic but it never ripens as I eat it raw from the garden bed, dirt and all. Al I going too far ?
